New eMPF expert group assembled
The Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority has formed a team of experts to address any challenges in connection to eMPF – the new digital platform for the city’s pension fund.
The eMPF expert group aims to provide better services and improve user experience with the platform's second phase set to launch in early March, MPFA said.
A range of industry professionals that includes IT experts, representatives of IT trade associations, managers of large tech firms and digital platform companies, and university scholars comprise the group's roster.
It consists of Francis Fong Po-kiu, Hong Kong Information Technology Federation honorary president; Victor Lam Wai-kiu, former government chief information officer; Sunny Lee Wai-kwong, Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute Company board chairman; Wendy Lee Woon-ming, Chevalier (Network Solutions) general manager; Paul Loo, Lalamove chief operating officer; and Yiu Siu-ming, executive director of HKU-SCF FinTech Academy and Director of the FinTech and Blockchain Laboratory, School of Computing and Data Science of the University of Hong Kong.
